10am Cannon Display & Archers Muster

COMMENCEMENT OF TOURNAMENT which takes place throughout the day and includes:

SPLITTING THE WAND

THE KNIGHT - a moving target

SHOOTING THE KING'S DEER AND BOAR

POPINJAY (to simulate shooting birds from a tree, four wooden birds are hoisted up a pole and shot from below with rubber blunts)

SPEED SHOOT (as many as possible in one minute)

PURSE SHOOT (shooting at purses containing various amounts)
