Popinjay and Clout Shoot, 2004

The Christmas Popinjay and Clout Shoot: 11th January. Despite an awful week the weather cleared up around 10.30am and for the next 6 hours the skies stayed blue; just enough time for the shoot. Quite large quantities of mulled wine were quaffed as well as venison sausages, although for some inexplicable reason many seemed to prefer to hunt the wooden pigeons...
